In 2022, three test drone deliveries flights were held as Task 2, one of the activities of the FlyVETUp! project. Flights on August 13th and September 9th in Greece and March 29th in Cyprus proved that drone deliveries in the postal sector are possible.
The result of the project, a drone operator course, will certainly contribute to the development of new services and occupations. The training program allows participants to achieve the maximum level of assimilation of the concepts, terminology and regulatory framework of the model for UAS operations and applications by going through two modules.
